Today I would like to discuss lymph and mucosal membrane health. These are the unsung heroes of our immune system and often end up being the keys to good energy and longevity. It is very easy, with the relatively toxic world that we live in today, for our mucus membranes to harbor everything from microplastics to latent bacteria and viruses. The constant work the body does to keep you healthy and seclude these irritants can drain your energy and also make you susceptible to all kinds of illnesses, particularly respiratory and digestive because these two systems are lined with membranes that begin at your mouth and empty out your gut. While we all are familiar with our exterior skin membrane, the mucosa is our internal membrane and needs just as much care, if not more.
